Since then, we have completed numerous projects in the Pacific Northwest, including educational institutions, hospitals, healthcare facilities, and commercial properties. Specializing in commercial and government construction, we have developed a diverse set of skills and extensive experience.

Our Philosophy

Energized Electric, Inc. was founded with the intention of taking pride in our company and the work we perform. We realize our customers are more than just a project, they are the reason we get to do what we do everyday.
Over the years, we have been able to watch our community grow and we take pride in getting to say we contributed to the growth of the Pacific Northwest. From North Idaho to the entire state of Washington, we have performed hundreds of projects successfully exceeding expectations. Tyler Cavanaugh

Tyler Cavanaugh brings over 15 years of construction experience to Energized Electric, having started his career in the field as an apprentice, journeyman, and superintendent. After excelling in these roles, Tyler was promoted to a project manager position. He holds Master Electrician licenses in WA, ID, and MT. Tyler has extensive experience managing projects in government, institutional, and educational facilities, with a strong emphasis on design-build projects. Known for his ability to manage large-scale projects, Tyler excels in leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, ensuring seamless coordination and successful project outcomes.
When he is not working, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. They love traveling, hiking, and engaging in water-related activities.

Eric Martin

Senior Estimator | Project Manager

Eric Martin brings over 30 years of construction experience to Energized Electric as a WA State Master Electrician. With 25 years of expertise in estimating, project management, and the installation of complex electrical systems, Eric specializes in healthcare construction, including hospital emergency power systems. He is highly skilled in all aspects of construction, from preconstruction to final commissioning, and is experienced in managing projects within occupied hospital environments and understand the importance of infection control.

Eric’s background includes progressive design-build projects, pull planning, and lean construction, showcasing his innovative approach to project management. Known for his precise attention to detail, Eric consistently delivers high-quality results, making him an invaluable asset to any project team.

When Eric is not working, he enjoys helping friends and family, boating, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He always finds ways to stay busy!

Mike Hohl

Senior Estimator | Project Manager

Mike Hohl has been a dedicated member of Energized Electric since 1996, bringing over 28 years of project managing and estimating experience to the team. His expertise spans commercial and industrial projects, including medical facilities, K-12 educational facilities, and higher education institutions. Mike has extensive experience with GMP, design-build, design-bid-build, and TVD delivery methods.

In his free time, Mike enjoys camping and spending time with friends and family.

Paul Canter

Founder & President

Paul Canter, founder and President of Energized Electric Inc for over 30 years. Paul has been in the electrical construction industry, for over 44 years. Over that time, he has created relationships with general contractors, design teams & owners for a variety of different projects. Carefully selecting a talented office team, working together to provide a well-rounded office and support team for Energized Electric Inc. In his free time Paul’s likes hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Josh Cornwell

Head of Operations

Josh Cornwell has been a pivotal part of Energized Electric since 2007. He began his career in the field as an apprentice, journeyman, and superintendent, excelling in each role before being promoted to office project manager. Recently, Josh transitioned to focus solely on managing our day-to-day operations.

Josh’s down-to-earth and approachable nature, combined with his exceptional skills, ensures that our internal operations run smoothly. He shows empathy and support to our team, making sure each job is staffed appropriately and every project is completed on time and within budget.
When he’s not working, Josh enjoys motorsports; especially dirt bikes, fantasy football and spending time with family and friends.
